Chapter 51 - Local Tyrant.

"Hey, you." Phina grabbed a man who seemed to be drunk by the arm, her left hand still clutching her dagger.

"What the fuck do you want?! I already paid you, asshole!" the man slurred his words.

"Where are the Sharks?" Phina asked. Her cold eyes sent a chill down the man's back, sobering him a little.

"T-They're in the Billion Bars down the street." the old man said, a little less slurred. "You'll find their boss there."

"Perfect." Phina let go of the man and eyed a large looking bar a little distance away.

--------------------------------------------------------------

"So...you're telling me that some bald chick in a cloak just randomly one-shot one of my finest Sharks?" a woman asked as she took a puff from her cigarette. Her loose and open shirt barely covered her bare chest. Her long white hair was tied into a ponytail.

"Boss, I swear by Leo!" the recently awakened Brandon stood at the front of the group of four. They were currently holding Jiso, the man responsible for their mission today. Sadly, he was not only unconscious, but also heavily injured. One of the men behind him spoke out, "She was like a raging demon!! She knocked out Brandon first, then she slammed Boss Jiso's face into the ground three times!!"

"The bastard is an Intermediate-rank!! Do you really expect me to believe that you idiots didn't mess with an Advanced-rank?!" the woman glared at the four. She took a puff of her cigarette before sighing. "Just tell me which one it was. I'll find a way to settle this. Was it Mayo, Spear or that bastard Richen? If you messed with Decar, I can't help you."

"I'm telling you, Boss! It was a woman!" Brandon said.

"Bullshit!! All Advanced-ranks in Lonely Strife Town, beside me, are men!" the Sharks' boss shouted.

"I sw-"

Creeeeeak.

The door creaked open as a figure walked into the bar.

"Who the hell do you thin-" the boss yelled before she looked at the figure. It was a woman's figure cloaked in a black cloak, her head covered by the hood of the cloak. She held a single dagger in her left hand. Her cold eyes barely visible from the holes in her mask. The boss stood. "I guess you're the one who beat up my men."

Phina ignored her as she walked up to the buff Brandon. The boss grit her teeth in rage. She unsheathed the sword that was on her hip then turned to Phina with fury. "Don't ignore me!!"

Slash!!

Whoosh.

Phina casually ducked below the slash as she kicked the woman's knee from behind, causing her to lose her footing and fall. It didn't take long for Phina to stab her dagger into the woman's hand while gripping her other sword wielding arm. "I don't have business with you. Sit down and wait until I'm done."

Pwish.

Blood gushed from the woman's hand as Phina pulled back her dagger. The woman looked at Phina in fear. 'She didn't use any Life or World Energy...she almost killed me using only a single dagger...I almost died...'

"Now..." Phina turned to Brandon. "I want you to answer me truthfully. If you do, I'll lessen your punishment."

"Yes, ma'am!!" Brandon replied with fear in his eyes. His boss, an Advanced-ranker, was beaten in a single exchange!!!

"I want you to explain to me, in detail, every thought, movement and emotion that went through your mind from the moment you saw me." Phina demanded. Everyone looked at her with absolute terror. Their boss, the White Swordswoman of Humans Tala, was known around the entire Killers' Arena.

The Arena's powerhouses that were constantly on watch were the Law- and Apex-rankers. Founder-rankers were known as the leaders of cities. Expert-rankers were the highest ranked fighter a common person can hope to find. Tala was well-regarded among the youthful Advanced-rankers. She was currently a Peak stage Advanced-rank and was just slightly off becoming an Expert-ranker. With all these things into account, it was quite normal for them to fear Phina. After all, she had defeated this famous fighter in a single exchange. Tala sighed. 'Her level is definitely lower than mine, yet her battle instincts alone can elevate her combat power to the Expert-rank. Brandon is done for.'

"I-I was annoyed at first when I saw you...I thought that you were just a random person that wondered in." Brandon started recounting. Phina hinted that she wouldn't kill him, so the most he can do now was tell the absolute truth. "I felt a little bit of pity for you, so I wa-"

"PITY!!" Phina's emotions riled up, even with the Ender State. "That's it!"

'It seems my father felt some pity towards what I was going to go through, then called me a child and sent me here!' the space around Phina rippled as her emotions flared. She was starting to remember. It quickly subsided as she calmed down. "Very well, then. I'll take my leave."

"...w-what?" Jiso regained consciousness and looked around him. He quickly recognized Phina and pointed at her. "Hey! You bitch!! Where do you think you're going?! You think you can beat me and leave?! What's your name?! Who do you think you are?!"

Phina sighed.

Quick Gale!

Wind wrapped around Phina's body as her speed increased exponentially! She suddenly appeared in front of Jiso as she slashed at his arm.

Thud.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jiso yelled in agony, his arm, or whatever was left of it, bleeding heavily.

"Let that be a lesson to all of you. Don't mess with me nor old man Tekker." Phina announced to everyone in the bar before leaving.

"..."

"..."

"...damn it."

"What are we going to do now?"

"Are you alright, Jiso?"

"Let me wrap your hand for you, Boss."

A lot of people in the bar sighed and grit their teeth. A single woman had entered into their base and wiped the floor with their boss and one of their best fighters was crippled. Their reputation as the tyrants of Lonely Strife Town was completely destroyed now. While most were very frustrated by this situation, a few people grinned in delight.

"Excuse us, White Swordswoman. We must leave for now."

"The Crossers will not be a part of this alliance."

"The Mimics will also retreat from the alliance."

"I do apologize, but what we need is an absolute overlord over Lonely Strife Town."

A few people said aloud. They were representatives of the various gangs around the Killers' Arena. The Sharks had proposed an alliance between the five gangs, yet every single one of them backed out from taking control of Lonely Strife Town with the appearance of an absolute monster like Phina.

A few people, who were watching from outside the bar ran around town yelling. "The Sharks were beaten in their own base!! Lonely Strife Town has a new tyrant!!!"
