The trip back to Sacramento was uneventful, for the most part. Alan arrived to take Bobby and his family to the convoy after a long while, much to Bobby's displeasure. Alan didn't mind the ape much, however. Alan was mostly focused on the notification he had received after visiting the beach.

Apparently, the Weave decided to make his true name that of an eldritch love craftian entity, one that was supposedly also known as the Blind Idiot God, a sleeping being that would destroy the universe if it awoke. It struck Alan as funny.
After all, why the hell would the first part of his true name be that? Was it referencing Aranus? The god sleeping in his soul that would unleash destruction if he ever awoke? It could be the case, but then again, why would his true name ever reference someone other than him? As far as he knew, true names weren't of that sort.
