A few hours later, around 9 a.m., John's cell phone alarm rings, still in the living room.
On the outskirts of town, Agent Brown drives up to a tall building.
The shape of the roof suggests it's a greenhouse or something similar.
He parks his car on the side of the road and prepares to knock on the gate, which has a smaller entrance on one side.
The area seems somewhat uninhabited.
He doesn't see the point in building a greenhouse of that size so far from the city, so he rings the doorbell.
The doorbell rings for a moment and then stops.
A voice can be heard over the doorbell, asking the reason for the visit.
Annie Brown states that she is the special agent assigned to inspect her greenhouse.
The voice tells him to wait a moment.
After a while, footsteps are heard approaching, as if dragging a foot.
When she opens the door, it's a middle-aged man with dark skin, dressed very modestly, and his feet are bare and covered in dirt.
He invites her in, tells her he's already given notice, and he'll guide her to the room where she'll be received.
She takes a single step inside the gate, turns around, and can see a smaller building inside, with a lot of vegetation inside this dome-like structure.
In the distance, children run out of the vegetation, as if chasing each other.
This seems like a normal situation, all things considered.
The officer enters, and the man closes the gate.
The man turns to the officer and, with a gesture of his hand, asks her to follow him.
