The fight must go on.
Although pretending to be a Stygian River Dragon was somewhat useful, it only prevented direct combat. It wouldn't be enough to make a Battle Angel skilled in ranged attacks back off completely.
Hill looked a bit regretfully at the lively black dragon above the Cloud Realm and sighed silently.
"Is there something wrong, teacher?" Carpenter asked with concern, "That dragon seems to be in an illusion and hasn't really been hit!"
"I'm not concerned about how many arrows hit that dragon." Hill shook his head and sighed, "I'm just puzzled as to how Asmodeus is holding out for so long this time?
Guided by Celene, Lansendel ... hissing ... Lansendel wouldn't have mouthed off to Celene and gotten into trouble, would he?"
Hill thought about it, and this seemed the most likely explanation.
