Just as she'd expected, the wound was still oozing blood, with no sign of improvement at all.
"The meds aren't working…" Fiona Schmidt stared at the wound. It wasn't large, about four or five centimeters across, the edges clean and neat—obviously caused by a blade. Her hands clenched into fists, and it was as if her eyes were instantly dyed red with blood. "He… was hurt by Rudy's dagger, wasn't he?"
"He should be…" Tara Summer nodded, tossed the gauze into the trash, then stood up and fixed her gaze on the man's wound. "One look and you can tell he was stabbed. That dagger is really something—after all this time there's still no sign of healing. Norton's not waking up, and we're completely out of options!"
She was genuinely afraid that if this went on, he'd die from blood loss.
Luckily, the wound was only oozing; the bleeding wasn't fast…
