Fiona leaned against the headboard, and seeing him, she raised the corners of her mouth into a smile.
"Norton..." She reached out her hand, Norton Abyss grasped it, one hand propped on the edge of the bed, bending down to look at her.
The man's hand continued to apply pressure, unaware until Fiona frowned, then he realized and immediately eased his grip.
"Did it hurt?" He stroked her face, examining it carefully. The woman's complexion was still somewhat pale, despite her smile, she seemed devoid of energy, which inevitably made him more worried, "...is there anywhere you feel uncomfortable? Does it hurt?"
Fiona remained silent, observing his anxiousness, his handsome face solemn, the smile that was originally on her lips gradually fading. She stayed quiet, making the man more anxious as he started to check her over.
His urgent movements caused Fiona's heart to sink inch by inch, and she held her breath, grabbing his arm.
"Norton Abyss, tell me, do I have some serious illness?"
