Tracy closed her eyes but couldn't sleep, until after three in the morning, when she finally started to feel drowsy.
She had a long dream, where she was lying in her mother's arms, feeling warmth and comfort all around. She hugged her mother tightly, following that warmth, burrowing continuously into her embrace.
Until a slight pain came from her wrist, she opened her eyes and looked at the handsome face nearby, her mind somewhat confused, unable to distinguish between dream and reality.
Lorraine Hanson was gripping her wrist, seeing her dazed look, his furrowed brows slightly relaxed, and he loosened his grip a bit. He patted her cheek and said, "Wake up."
His thin lips curled upwards, eyes holding back laughter; this woman not only tightly hugged him but kept calling "Mommy, Mommy," who knows what dream she was having.
A woman clinging to him, constantly squirming in his arms — if he could still sleep, it would only be if he were drunk and unconscious like last time!
