The maids suggested returning to the palace, and she didn't say anything.
The three of them returned to the palace at five in the afternoon. The sun was high, marking the hottest time of the season. Fiona Schmidt was sweating all over and had no choice but to undo the top two buttons of her shirt.
The faint red mark on her collarbone was vaguely visible, seen by the two maids, who covered their mouths and laughed.
Fiona stepped out of the car, glared at them, but the corners of her mouth carried a smile.
The three returned to Soros Palace, Fiona went to take a bath first, and the two maids sorted the shopping bags in the bedroom. The young girls were chattering away, occasionally blaming each other—
"It was all your great idea. I told you not to take Miss Fiona Schmidt to that restaurant, right? Now look, she's lost all interest in shopping, it's all your fault!" Smaii complained to Cidy, her eyebrows tightly furrowed.
