Fiona Schmidt was still a bit sleepy, but hearing him talk about the marshal's estate, her sleepiness vanished.
Especially when she heard about the little nephew, and hearing the name Dad gave him, she laughed until her mouth couldn't close.
She kept saying, "Oscar Schmidt, Oscar Schmidt... It sounds so nice!"
She looked up at him and asked, "Doesn't it sound good?..."
"Yeah." The man gently rubbed her hair, slowly sat up, and hugged her, saying, "Want me to carry you to bathe?"
"No need." Fiona pushed his shoulder, turned over, and lay back on the bed, closing her eyes.
"Don't want to move?" Norton Abyss propped himself on one hand beside her, looking down at her face with residual blush, his gaze full of amusement.
"Uh-huh..." Fiona murmured lightly and then was silent, seemingly about to fall asleep.
The man reached out to hold her up, whispering in her ear, "Just lie down if you don't want to move; you don't need to do anything."
