Lily rose from her knees on shaky legs, small hands brushing frantically at the dusty tile marks on her skin. Her orange eyes stayed glued to the floor, anywhere but his steady gaze, while a soft, embarrassed mumble slipped out.
"J-just… pick different clothes already…"
Just quiet trembling hush. The tsundere fire that used to crackle every time she spoke to him had guttered out somewhere between the kiss. Perhaps just for the moment.
Alex gave a single calm nod, the corner of his mouth lifting in that faint, knowing smile.
He reached for the hook where his original clothes still hung, a shirt and loose sweatpants and he slipped them back on without another word.
The jammed zipper of the jeans returned back to working normally after he removed them. Apparently they were "tight" despite being his size.
"..." Lily cracked the curtain an inch, peeking out. The male clothing section was quiet for a minute. Distant chatter and footsteps fading.
