I went up to the person with the back profile that looked familiar to me, since I had been following that exact person through the library for a while so I'm pretty sure that was him.
I walked up towards the figure of Grant who was facing one of the walls along the corridor, moving to peek around the side to see if my hypothesis was right.
Sure enough… His face was blurred.
Hmm… So either these Faceless Ones mimic people who die here… Or people who die here turn into Faceless Ones…
I looked down at the corridor that was now practically filled with them, easily numbering in the hundreds with how far the corridor seemed to stretch.
I have no doubt there were more of them elsewhere but basically this meant I'm in a corridor with at least a few hundred people who have died in this place.
That was when the crying sound came again, coming from further down the corridor which meant I would have to walk past all these Faceless Ones if I wanted to investigate it.
