Over in the Lu mansion...
Lu Xuilan's exquisite fingers pinched her forehead in exasperation. The courtyard that she and her mother currently inhabited was a little run down with just four servants -three of whom were Bai Yun's people and the remaining one was her personal servant, Tin Tin.
At least the girl was someone she could trust -for now.
If she wanted to grow her forces then money was important.
An idea came to her then. She could dissolve some quick action pills into solution form and sell the vials to a notable pharmacy. In disguise of course. She couldn't have people tracing her to the Lu family.
She was still too weak to be in that kind of spotlight.
"A'Lan?"
Lu Xuilan looked up to find that her mother had come into her room at one point. She let out a small smile. "Mother."
