WHEN Shari was satisfied with all the reports, she and Lei started picking up the weapons they'd use. They thoroughly inspected each one to ensure they were in their best condition.

Shari cocked the caliber .45 pistol and checked the magazine. It was unloaded, and there was a loud click when she pulled the trigger.

"You're entering the lion's den, Shi. Be careful. I'll assist you from behind." Lei examined the mini telescope of the sniper rifle he'd use.
"Thanks, Lei. That's comforting." Shari was confident but doing the assault alone made her a little apprehensive.
