Is the MC overpowered?
Yes, and no. The MC does start ahead of his peers, but that's because of comprehensive worldbuilding and the background of the character, as well as pureblood complacency. Will the character lose fights against his fellow 1st year classmates? No. Would he struggle and/or lose against someone like Professor Snape, Yes.
Will the harem be rushed?
No, this is going to be a slowburn fic. The MC does meet them early on, yes, but I intend to develop their relationships slowly instead of rushing anything. Honestly, the pre-hogwarts chapters reach up to chapter 15 so that should tell you already how comprehensive it will be.
How's the romance?
There will be fluff early into the story like hand holding, leaning against their shoulder, headpats (Polyjuiced Hermione, iykyk). Actual romance probably won't happen up until their 4th or 5th year, 3rd would be the earliest.
Update Schedule:
As I am a college student, I can only confidently say that I'll upload at least once a week, maybe twice. When? Wednesdays, extra chapters will be uploaded on Saturday which I will announce the day before.
How long will each chapter be?
Chapter word count will range between 2-3.5k words.
How invested am I in continuing this fic?
Very, I actually already have 17 chapters in stockpile, am reading the books, watching the movies, and even playing the game. Honestly, I'm surprised by how much I'm liking it.
Does it have a system?
No, I intend to stay true to the lore as much as possible, though ancient magic can be rather flexible but I don't intend to use it as a crutch for making the mc strong.
Book-based or Movie-based?
Honestly, it depends. I'm going to stay as loyal as I can to the books, but I might take some inspiration from the movies.
Will it deviate from the base story?
Yes, mostly in between years as I don't want my mc to just be a student.
