Situ no longer cared about time.
Inside the shattered sealed land, only silence, flames, and endless consumption remained.
The enormous body of the Beyonder had already been reduced by more than half. Countless broken tentacles drifted through the void like ruined continents, while gray-black Grandmist flames burned endlessly across the flesh, refining corruption into the purest spiritual essence imaginable.
Boom.
Situ sat cross-legged in the middle of the void.
Before him floated the Beyonder's final core.
It resembled neither flesh nor bone. Instead, it looked like a pulsating fragment of primordial chaos itself. Darkness and light intertwined within it. Life and death revolved endlessly around one another as if the core contained the beginning and end of creation itself.
The remaining eyes on the Beyonder stared at Situ with exhaustion.
"…So this is how I end."
Its voice was weak now.
There was no rage left within it.
No unwillingness.
Only exhaustion.
