Ian immediately contacted Michael, saying in a deep voice, "I've found a way to defeat Axel!"

Michael quickly inquired, even though he was confident that he would perish alongside Axel, he was well aware that this would be the final outcome. Even if Axel was truly struck by the Ice Prison Calamity Ash, it would at least take a long time for his Aether structure to be eroded to death. In the meantime, Axel undoubtedly had the power to turn all of Terra upside down.
Ian quickly responded, "Cradle Fragments — neither you nor The Last Echo, not even the Fifth Energy Level, can penetrate through them. Even light can freeze in those space-time fragments!"
"As long as we seal Axel within them, we can defeat him!"
