"Sigma 015, permission to engage"
"Permission granted!", the Commander of Kruzian Army, gave her orders through the radio communications
Aarya, controlling Vernier in its cockpit responded, "Vernier, engaging in combat"
Then, two small thrusters opened up in the slender back of Vernier. Through them small flames came out and burst forth. Vernier began to fly towards the main encampment of Haruan Army.

"How did the plan fail?", The Lieutenant spoke through his communications to the other people there.
"Ravinder, we were expecting more from you."
"I apologise", the Lieutenant apologised throughout the communitcations.
"You have done what you could. We just hope to a peaceful death atleast.", the person who was speaking with the Lietenant throughout the communications told.
"The best we can do is die now. If Kruz wins, both Haru and Kruz will just be fools for a greater plan.", The Lietenant, Ravinder spoke as he looked at the pistol in his hand.
"No matter who wins....", Ravinder spoke and shouted as he pointed his pistol towards his chin, pulling the trigger.
"KREISS MUST BE DESTROYED!"
The sound of a gunshot echoed throughout the room followed by the sound of an empty bullet shell dropping to the ground and rolling in an elliptical route.
AT THE BATTLEFIELD
The Haruan military and navy which was there had seen an incoming body throughout their sensors and a warning of an incoming body was sent throughout their communications.
The Seond Prince, Haruto Ori Haru saw the incoming body through zooming the display in Regnant's cockpit. Upon seeing the incoming body, no the flying MECHA, he smirked. He smiled so much and let out his thoughts.
"Vernier. So you're here huh, brother-in-law."
Aarya arrived to the place where the Haruan Navy was.
He pulled the control sticks backward and made Vernier stop flying and float at a single place where he could see the glance of Haruan Army. There Aarya saw something shocking.
Haruan battleships immediately elevated their cannons and aimed at Aarya.
"Aiming, all personnel. Be ready to fire!", the Haruan commander ordered them.
The cannons and the mortars were aimed at Vernier and the shots were launched. The smoke flowing out from the canon after the firing was the proof of that. The projectiles went on their way to hit Vernier but as they went to hit it, Vernier disappeared.
Aarya, looking onto the oncoming projectiles from the display, contracted his eyes. Then, he used 'Spatial'. He immediately disappeared into the sky with nebulous ends and appeared again, after the projectiles missed him. He dodged it by using the ability individual to Kruzians only, the 'Spatial'.
After, dodging it Aarya looked at the MECHA which was standing on the only different warship warship's deck. He was shocked to see what was there.
Kyoko herself, who was looking through the shared display from Vernier was shocked.
"How...."
"Is Calliper still there?", Kyoko's words which weren't finished were completed by Aarya.
The both of them were shocked to see 'Regnant' on the deck of the different ship amongst the others.
Regnant's head moved upwards and the Second Prince inside of it gave of an eerie smirk. He pulled the gears diagonal to him. The thrusters to the back of his MECHA activated and Regnant started to levitate. It started to fly towards Vernier.
"I can't wait to kill you, Aarya!", Haruto, the Second Prince cried at the top of his lungs within the cockpit of his MECHA.
Vernier's flight stabilizers and thrusters were then focused downwards towards the upcoming Regnant.
"You...", Aarya spoke through the cockpit which was audible from the external speakers, "How do you have Calliper?"
"Well, it is the Haruan Royal Family's property", Haruto spoke.
Their palms collided the moment they came to point of facing each other. The metallic arms of the both of them opposed each other. Trying to push the latter back, the power in their thrusters and flight stabilizers increased. Then, out of nowhere a projectile came in between the MECHAS' face and the pilots activated the thrusters to the front abdomen being pushed back suddenly onto the water.
Both the MECHAS fell on top of the water surface. In simple terms, they landed by levitating on top of the water.
Vernier flipped on top of the water with one hand and levitated safely back to bipedal motion.
Regnant also landed safely on the water .
They flew towards each other on top of the water.
The MECHAS punched each other on the face. Parts broke through it due to the impact and they fell onto the water. The force exerted caused the water to flow in the direction opposite to the MECHAS.
"Who are you?", Aarya asked, "How can you control Calliper?"
"I guess you can remember me, older sister Kyoko", the pilot in Regnant's cockpit spoke.
Kyoko listening to this was shocked to recognise that voice. She mumbled on her words.
"Haruto?"
Kyoko's words were audible to Aarya through the communications.
"No way....", Aarya let out his thoughts.
"Did you think that a prince would be cowardly enough to cower behind the strength of his men and view this war from a safe spot?"
The Second Prince, Haruto asked Aarya.
Then, Regnant punched Vernier on its metallic abdomen, exerting force which caused Vernier to elevate backwards unwillingly. Vernier which was mid-air came to proper positioning by the flight stabilizers which let out strong steam to maintain balance mid air.
Regnant flew towards Vernier.
"It is time for you to die, my brother's killer", Haruto lost his composure, His words were audible to the outside.
Aarya looking at Regnant through the display, warped from the space. Haruto lost trace of Vernier through the display of Regnant. Vernier then appeared behind Regnant.
"Found you.", Haruto smiled.
Vernier which appeared behind Regnant was going to shoot out lasers from its weapon. As it was able to shoot, Regnant turned back and slashed its metallic 'katana'.
Aarya gulped upon this.
The fight then elongated.
Drones were sent through the MECHAS. Each unleashing their own projectiles and other ranged kinetic projectiles. Aarya regularly warped with his ability to try to defeat Regnant but it was futile.
"How are you able to?", Aarya asked him as they fought mid air.
"You underestimate Haruan Royalty, Aarya.", the Second Prince spoke and continued, "I think older sister was also able to keep track of your abilities?"
"What do you mean?"
"We, the royals of Haru are thought of a way to sense the activation of U-cells since our childhoo-"
"Yeah, I know that", Aarya interrupted Haruto's words and continued, "Kyoko told me it was to prevent rebellion and espionage."
"Well, it can't be helped the-"
Aarya started to laugh again, interrupting his words.
"Second Prince,", Aarya spoke.
"It doesn't who you underestimate."
"But never underestimate, an assassin.", Aarya claimed boldly.
After his words, Vernier disappeared into air.
Then, Regnant was hit with a shock. It shook the cockpit and Haruto.
Before he could take notice, Regnant's flight stabilizers were cut off from its body causing it to shake heavily mid air. Haruto tried to increase the efficiency of the thrusters to regain control midair. But, Vernier appeared right in front of him.
"You know nothing, Aarya.", the Prince spoke as Vernier was about to punch him.
"What do you mean?", Aarya asked.
"You know nothing about the 'Big Picture'.", Haruto claimed.
Then, one of Vernier's flight stabilizers were destroyed. This caused Vernier to lose balance midair. The stabilizers were destroyed by a laser projectile by an unnoticed drone.
Regnant then caught ahold of Vernier, pushing it downwards towards the land. It dragged Vernier through the rocky trails throughout the land.
"You're a fool, Aarya."
"Oh, really?"
Vernier then stopped, regaining its balance and holding Regnant.
"You're become a Scapegoat, Brother-in-Law."
"I don't care who wins, as long as there is peace."
Out of plain air, appeared a pile driver. Right at the lower back of Regnant. It launched its projectile.
The projectile caused Regnant's upper body and lower body to separate.
The cockpit, which was covered by Regnant's upper half of body fell on the ground along with debris. Haruto who was inside the cockpit, shook violently.
The cockpit opened from the outside only for the Prince to see Aarya holding a pistol at him.
"The Second Prince of Imperial Haru, Haruto. You are requested to surrender."
The Second Prince smiled at him saying, "You're a fool, Aarya."
"It was only after this day...Did I realise about the greatest mistake I had ever done in my entire life"
