As I looked up at the sky and felt at peace, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. The sight of the two moons was breathtaking, and I couldn't help but admire their beauty.
"Wait! Ninja girl!? How do you use the magic?" Ataru turned to Railia, seeking an explanation.
Railia looked a bit bewildered. "You're the champion, you should understand how the magic works. It should be second nature to you."
"Explain it to me anyway," Ataru insisted.
"Well, for starters, you have to imagine your sword is your heart, and think of yourself as your soul. The blade represents everything that's left after you die, and the power in the magic comes from inside you. Now, let's see… You don't have to focus on anything, but if you want the magic to work better, you can try to visualize it coming out of your sword or heart."
"huh!" Ataru exclaimed
I got up on my feet and facing him again thinking to myself I am so dead.
I closed my eyes and tried to imagine myself as an ancient warrior who had been through many battles. I pictured myself holding my sword with both hands and envisioned the light from its tip shining down on me. As I did all these things, I began to feel lighter and more relaxed. My breathing slowed, and the world around me seemed to calm down and take pause. Everything was still, and it felt like everything was going in slow motion. Suddenly, I heard a female voice speaking in my native tongue of patrois, but it was the old language I barely understood it. My fist began to radiate energy . I gave Conan a determined look now" I am ready to fight bring it on conan" I
screamed
CONAN SMIRKED "BRING IT ON brat" and he ready himself
I hear the voice again but I felt I was not in full control of my body it was like some of my movements were guided and my speed went up I charge at Conan.
He struck at my face I doged it without even trying it's like my body was moving on my own I quenched my fist and hit Conan in a pressure point I did not know existed and he went down.
I stood over Conan, breathing heavily, feeling a rush of adrenaline coursing through my veins. I had never felt so alive before. At that moment, I realized that the magic that Railia had explained to me was not just a tool for fighting, but a way of connecting with myself and the world around me.
I turned to look at Railia, who was nodding her head in approval. "You did well, Ninja girl. I can see that you have a natural talent for using the magic. With a bit more practice, you'll become unstoppable."
I smiled at her, feeling proud of myself for the first time in a long time. But then, my smile faded as I remembered why I was here. I looked at Conan, who was lying on the ground, clutching his side in pain. I knew that I had hurt him badly, but I couldn't help feeling like I had no other choice. He had been attacking me, and I had just defended myself.
I knelt down next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?" I asked, feeling genuine concern for him.
He looked up at me with a mix of surprise and admiration. "You're a lot tougher than I thought," he said, grinning despite the pain.
I helped him to his feet and we stood facing each other. "I think we should call it a draw," he said, extending his hand.
I shook his hand, feeling a sense of camaraderie with him that I hadn't expected. "Yeah, a draw sounds good to me," I replied.
As we walked back to the village, I couldn't help but think about the magic and what it meant to me. It was more than just a tool for fighting. It was a way of connecting with myself and the world around me. It was a way of finding my inner strength and using it to overcome any obstacle.
I knew that I still had a lot to learn about the magic, but I was excited to see where this journey would take me. And as I looked up at the sky again, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and gratitude for everything that had led me to this moment
