Though it wasn't the first time she'd heard him say it, every time those two words, "Zhizhi," came out of his mouth, Gu Zhiqi always felt like there was something wrapped around them.
So enticing.
Gu Zhiqi habitually raised her hand and pressed her ear.
Su Yunling had already turned around to face the stove, still talking to Gu Zhiqi about the flowers, "Go sit on the sofa for a while, it'll be ready soon."
"Okay."
Gu Zhiqi responded but didn't leave. Instead, she continued leaning against the kitchen door, watching Su Yunling.
Feeling the gaze from the doorway, Su Yunling glanced back, "Why are you still standing there?"
Gu Zhiqi: "Watching you."
Su Yunling raised an eyebrow, "What's there to see?"
Gu Zhiqi, in all seriousness, said, "You're good-looking; you look good standing, when you smile, and even when you cook."
After speaking, she arched her eyebrows at Su Yunling.
Su Yunling's gaze paused for a moment before he looked away and then lowly asked, "Do you like it?"
