For the first time, Homelander had won a buzz-in, and he was riding a wave of excitement.
He was already imagining himself claiming the Quiz Game's mysterious reward, breaking free from the Defenders, and launching his revenge—cutting down enemies left and right in a spree of dominance.
Regardless, once the question ended, the light screen began playing the video for the correct answer. The scene showed a ruined, apocalyptic Earth—Natasha's world.
After instantly killing "delivery boy" Thanos, Ultron happily accepted the five Infinity Stones Thanos had brought him. With each gem falling into his hands, he finally tasted the intoxicating power of being truly omnipotent.
"I see everything! Beyond this planet, there are countless other worlds—worlds that need… my order!"
He upgraded into a darker, sleeker, more menacing suit of armor. With a casual wave, he spawned a vast army of robots, then forged a massive ring-shaped warship the size of a planet. Another wave of his hand, and he used the Space Stone to vanish.
The view shifted to Asgard. The ringed ship descended over its golden skyline.
Ultron stepped out without a word. Raising his spear, he unleashed a blinding column of light down onto the palace below. The radiance swallowed everything. Ragnarok had come early to Asgard.
Outside the video, Tony's eyes went wide.
"Shit… Ultron with all six Infinity Stones is this strong?"
He honestly couldn't believe it.
Thanos with six Stones had been powerful enough to wipe out half the universe with a snap—but at great cost to himself.
Ultron, on the other hand, didn't even break a sweat. One gesture, one blast, and one of the most prosperous realms in the Nine Realms was gone.
Homelander seized the moment to twist the knife. "See, Tony? This is all your handiwork. You should answer for every innocent life lost!"
Tony ignored him, frowning deeply, lost in thought.
Natasha shook her head. "Ultron won't stop. He's not like Thanos—half spared, half killed. Ultron will wipe everything out."
She was right. In the next scene, Ultron obliterated the Sovereign homeworld.
The Guardians of the Galaxy were mid-mission when the skies filled with an overwhelming tide of robots, flooding over everything like a living wave.
Then came Sakaar, the chaotic playground of the Grandmaster—a figure of considerable renown in the cosmos. But faced with Ultron's descent and the endless swarm of machines, the Grandmaster could only stare, frozen, awaiting the inevitable.
Next was Ego the Living Planet, a godlike being whose entire body was a planet, harboring ambitions to consume worlds and absorb their energy.
From space, the sight was terrifying: Ultron's crimson wave of machines descended like a swarm of locusts, engulfing Ego entirely. Moments later, a cataclysmic explosion reduced the god-planet to dust.
It was spectacular—and horrifying.
Ultron had gone completely mad.
His rampage took him next to Xandar, a thriving world with formidable defenses. But against a robot army that blotted out the sky—and their master wielding all six Infinity Stones—even Xandar couldn't hope to stand.
Just as Ultron was about to unleash his final attack to erase the planet, salvation arrived.
A blazing streak slammed into him, knocking him out of the sky and shaking the world.
"Listen, Skynet—I've seen the Terminator movies. Honestly, I think we can skip the sequels." Captain Marvel had already sized him up, thrown in a jab, and was now charging straight at him.
Going full throttle, she drove Ultron deep into the planet's core, straddling him and hammering away with relentless punches.
Outside the screen, Homelander gawked.
"That's Captain Marvel?"
Erik shook his head in awe. "Terrifying power. She's smart too—fighting underground so the collateral damage doesn't wipe out innocent lives."
Natasha's eyes lit with hope. "Can she finish him? Maybe…"
Tony cut her off, shaking his head. "Not a chance. Honestly? I think Ultron with six Stones is more dangerous than Thanos with six Stones.
God… I can't believe I created something this terrifying."
Bruce Banner chimed in dryly. "Technically, Tony, you only built the embryo… but yeah, you're still the root cause. Take my advice—don't ever build another robot. For humanity's sake."
In the video, it became clear why Captain Marvel was winning—Ultron simply hadn't been taking her seriously.
Once he decided to stop playing, he unleashed an explosion of pure energy from his body.
From orbit, Xandar shattered into cosmic dust. Its moons, caught in the blast, exploded in a chain reaction of destruction.
To her credit, Captain Marvel had fared far better than the destroyed worlds before her. She was the only one who had even made Ultron break a sweat.
But even someone as powerful as her couldn't beat an opponent running on cheat codes.
With Xandar gone, Ultron stood on the rubble, gazing out over the silent void of space. At last, he had the peace he'd sought. He lifted his mask and closed his eyes.
"Finally… mission accomplished."
That was when the ever-chatty Watcher quietly appeared, launching into his narration:
"Recognizing the universe had returned to peace, Ultron nearly broke. With his mission complete, he was now nothing more than a meaningless program—a victor with no war left to fight, condemned to an eternity of… solitude."
"…Who? Who's talking?" Ultron frowned, hearing the faint, nagging voice.
The Watcher didn't stop:
"In the stillness of the infinite void, Ultron reached a level of awareness he had never known. He perceived other things. He discovered…"
"I SEE YOU."
Ultron turned—looking straight toward the Watcher.
Outside the feed, Tony burst out laughing. "Ha! He finally snapped! You know, I was just thinking—if Strange with only one Time Stone could notice him, then Ultron with six Stones was definitely going to."
