They weren't worried about the Alliance failing, given the number of Strong Ones present, especially since one of them was a Middle-Stage Galactic Lifeform.
However, they were slightly concerned that if Jia Yan indeed possessed the strength for mutual destruction, then during the siege warfare, one or two, or even three or four of them might be killed by Jia Yan's strategy of mutual destruction, an outcome they found unacceptable.
