This matter, in essence, is that the Queen of the Insect Clan and others fear that Jia Yan might affect the energy circle and everyone's cultivation, which is why they let Jia Yan descend to the outside world. If they had taken more responsibility, Jia Yan wouldn't have had to go through so many life and death trials.
What's more frustrating is that after finally finding out the location of the power, running back in a hurry, Jia Yan was ambushed on the way by a Territory Master who clearly had intel. Jia Yan's survival is another miracle.
So the compensation that the Queen of the Insect Clan mentioned is absolutely necessary; otherwise, it would be a matter of discord for Jia Yan to speak of it.
Of course, these have to be real matters.
