According to Wunian's own investigation on the forums, as of today, even among the large player base of The Realm of Innocence, those randomly cast into the Fairy Clan are less than 0.1%. While not as extremely rare as the pure-blooded Dragon Species like Christina, its rarity is comparable to Yi Dong's Eternal Race. The only difference is that the Fairy Clan lives longer than the Eternal Race.
Indeed, although there are a small handful of players randomly cast into the Eternal Race like Yi Dong, most of these characters meet miserable ends soon after character creation, generally dying by various means within one to three months of starting the game.
