The duty of the guard is to watch over Buffy Marshall.
The guard is well aware that the room is now completely empty.
The guard also knows that the person in that cell should be Buffy Marshall.
Yet no one feels anything is amiss.
Everyone meticulously watches that cell because Buffy Marshall is supposedly in there, and their task is to guard this notorious Duke, even though... it's empty inside.
This is so similar to Cole Shuren's past experience.
