Grace slowly opened her eyes. For a few seconds, she stared blankly at the unfamiliar ceiling before everything that had happened yesterday came rushing back into her mind.
She got married.
Not a fake engagement.
Not a contract.
She was really married.
A smile slowly appeared on her face without her realizing it.
She turned her head and saw Samuel sleeping beside her. His breathing was steady, and without his usual cold expression, he looked much gentler.
Grace quietly rested her chin on the pillow and looked at him.
"So handsome," she muttered under her breath.
She had always admitted Samuel was good-looking, but somehow he looked even more handsome today.
Maybe it was because he was her husband now.
The thought alone made her cheeks warm.
She slowly reached out, wanting to touch his face. Just as her fingertips were about to reach his cheek, Samuel suddenly spoke.
"You've been staring for three minutes."
