Tao Jue took a deep breath and looked at his universe in exhilaration.
Earth, standing in between Heaven and Hell. Although these worlds were primitive, they were surely beautiful in their own right.
The next step was to create universal Laws in order to stop Gods interfering with mortal matters. If they wanted to walk the earth, they would need to do so with an apostle or much weaker clone.
Tao Jue created these Laws by attaching restrictions to each of his own creations; therefore each of their own creations and so on. Since he began the universe with himself as the centre, no being would be unrestricted within his territory.
His only worry, however, was extraterrestrial threats from other universes. He fully expected other civilisations from the universe to come into conflict with himself, hence he invented faith to create more Gods. He hoped to amass a force powerful enough to retaliate against threats.
The other reason Faith was invented was to give himself a method of becoming more powerful; though he wasn't sure if this was necessary.
As a creator, he had changed his thought process from being a small minded mortal to understanding the picture on a bigger stage.
Would another creator wonder into his universe? One with full control on the enemies hands? That was akin to running through no man's land. A foolish choice and not how a creator would attempt to invade other territories.
Tao Jue understood well that a creators power had limits. There was only enough creation power and space on his body for a limited amount of resources, meaning that wearing out those resources could spell doom for the other party.
Thinking this way, an invasion through space would likely occur on the planets he wished to defend. By sending both mortals and gods to defeat enemy mortals and gods, you could wear down a creators forces until he is weak enough to directly attack in his own universal space.
To any other creator, this could be a nightmare. But to Tao Jue, it wasn't a problem but instead an opportunity; only with wars will races advance and unite together, only with external enemies would worlds ally with each other.
On top of this, he had a major advantage over other creators, as he had read novels and watched many fictional shows. His imagination was thousands of times more advanced than another creator from a distant planet was likely to be.
Nana and faith were two powers mortals could utilise to eliminate threats, and could invent new ways of harnessing the planets energy indefinitely; as that was how Tao Jue created it to be. A limitless power that could be utilised by anyone and in many different ways.
Thinking of the times ahead. Tao Jue was excited. Perhaps he was paranoid and no threats were on their way, but his intuition told him he must build the universal foundations as soon as possible.
Flying over to Heaven, he greeted God who bowed at his appearance. He seemed to have understood and position in the universe and was busy speaking to Archangels about new rules for Heaven and Hell.
Tao Jue gave him a task: to create species of legends in his memories, that he shared with him. He also tasked him with forming four continents with vastly different climates, in order to allow all walks of life to live comfortably.
The reason Tao Jue asked God to do this and not himself, was because he wanted to test the latter.
God had all the required memories inherited through Tao Jue's own, and was incredibly happy to work on this project. He knew this was an honour and a test given by the creator.
After becoming familiar with his own powers and authority over the universe, God was incredibly respectful of his creator. He knew his power and authority was unequaled throughout Heaven and Hell and thus was respected by both, and this likely wouldn't change soon, as it was incredibly difficult to become a supreme god unless you had the blessing of a creator.
Lucifer, with his unlimited ambition, was understanding of the current circumstance. Heaven and Hell must be ruled by an overlord not from either of the two factions, but a powerful being able to subdue both. Although he was unhappy about a supreme god being born, once he recognised the power of Faith that his creator had invented, he was satisfied. He only needed to gather the prayers of mortals to become more powerful.
The other Archdemons and Archangels felt similar in this notion, and a war between the factions within earth was inevitable in the future.
After giving out tasks, Tao Jue finally decided to focus on himself. He flew directly towards Lilith's castle on the surface of Hell.
Lilith, engaged in chat with members of her created race, the succubi, felt her bloodline resonate as the doors to her castle's throne room open slowly.
Widening her eyes, she stood up from her throne, unbelieving that her creator had come to visit her.
It had been countless years since the virgin creator had even spoke to a woman, and only then it had been his nurse. He was not without senses or feelings; hence it was about time he made a move.
Unlike what he initially believed, Lilith did not feel to him like a daughter would. Even though he created her, it was from the memories of Earths religious and mythological beliefs. She had become her own woman and moulded her own personality over time.
Walking towards the dumbstruck primordial succubus, he cooly stretched out his hand.
"Care to take a walk?"
