"You bastard!"
The young guard rushed over, pinned the man to the ground, but it was too late, the tightly shut gate had already fallen, revealing a wide path for the invaders.
"Why did you do this! You grew up here! Have you forgotten?"
The young guard grabbed his colleague fiercely, his eyes reddening, glaring viciously at the man before him. He and this guy were about the same age, having grown up together. The young guard was well aware of his situation. Precisely because of this, he trusted him to guard his back.
But what the young guard didn't expect was that the person he trusted the most was the one who stabbed him in the back!
"Don't forget! You were only five when you came here! It was the Lord who took you in when you had nowhere to go, allowing you to grow up here! How can you do this! Why did you betray the Lord?"
"Nowhere to go?"
