They didn't need to prepare New Year goods themselves; the Chu and Li families had just sent another batch over a couple of days ago, all the must-have New Year supplies for Spring Festival nowadays.
Smoked pork and sausages, peanuts, sunflower seeds, candies, plus other foods and fruits that could be stored for a long time, they'd even prepared two new sets of clothes each for her and Li Tingyan.
So all Nianyang could do was thoroughly clean the place inside and out, then arrange the seeds, peanuts, candies, and fruits into several fancy patterns on plates. It actually felt a bit like New Year.
