"Not Davison but David" Matt said
"I don't give a f**k" Chris replied with a little bit of annoyance in his tone
"He looks cool you know" Matt said knowing fully well that it would rile his brother so he picked the dishes and ran to the kitchen to avoid the stare his brother was giving him.
"Why do the both of you play like kids don't you know you're already men??" Mrs Marshall said with a smile on her face she was happy her children got along well
"I'm the Benjamin of the family which means I'm supposed to be pampered on for the rest of life" Matt answered hugging their mom
"Of course my big baby" Mrs Marshall replied ruffling his hair and squeezing his face
When Dave saw the scene his heart warmed, he began missing his family he promised himself to give them a video call when he gets back home.
At that moment Lina came down from the start and saw him smiling she was stunned because his smile was very beautiful and he had dimples, it was a her first time seeing a man who had dimples and it made her heart skipped a beat.
Dave could feel somebody staring at him, he knew it was his one and only the smile on his face increased when he thought of this. Lina was brought out from her reveries when she heard some cleared his throat and she didn't need a magician to tell her it was that annoying brother of hers called Matthew
"Hey Lin thinking about you Mr right" a little bit of teasing could be heard from Matt voice as he said that. Lina's face became red as she hurriedly ran down the stairs to give the notes to Dave
"Here are the notes" she gave him the notes not daring to look at his face still embarrassed from what Matthew said
"Thanks a lot" Dave said as he smiling which made his dimples more visible, he look around and when he saw no one was looking at them he said whispered into her ear "so I am you type of guy huh??"
Lina didn't know but his voice made her inside shivered but she refused to be embarrassed this time
"You're not even close to the type of guy I'll date" she whispered back into his ear
If only she knew what their close proximity was doing to him she wouldn't be standing so close. This was the scene Chris walked into her was surprise when he saw that stupid Davison or whatever his name is standing close to his sister, Matthew came after Chris and couldn't help whistling when he saw the way the were close he had a strangling intent in his eyes while Matt was standing there smiling like an idiot, their mom came out of the kitchen drying her hands with a cloth and when she saw Lina standing with a red face she walked to her
"Are you having a fever sweetie??" she said with concern fill in her voice. Lina felt so embarrassed when she heard the question her mom asked and Matt had to increase her embarrassment by making a stupid comment
"Of course mom she has a fever and that fever is called love" Matt ran up the stairs immediately he finish saying that. Lina's mom looked at him running up the stairs as if he was mad,Chris stood there with a twisted expression on his face, Lina was already so embarrassed and when she heard Dave chuckle she felt like digging a hole and hidding herself there for a while.
To assure her mom Lina said
"I'm fine mom don't worry"
"Are you sure??" She asked worried. Lina nodded and she smiled at her, turn to Chris and said
"Chris come with me" Chris followed his mom knowing what she was trying to do he did not want to leave his sister alone with that Davison.
