Journee took a deep breath after Stephen exited the van. She then looked at both Jack and Henry and hit them both on their heads. "What the hell were you both thinking? Why did you attack Stephen? Idiots! What if he complains? I am not going to get you out of punishment, is that clear?"
"So, you can hit people to teach them a lesson, but we cannot," said Jack while caressing the back of his head.
"I can take the scolding. Also, I am much more senior than you two. Stephen is a detective just like you guys. Same position! His words will have more impact because he is the head of IT, you idiots! And he was talking about me. Why do you let things impact you? Have I not taught you anything?" she snapped at them for showing their emotions.
Henry moved close to her, grabbed her by her shoulders and made her look at him. "So, if anyone says things about you, berates you, calls you names, we must not react. Is that what you want to say?"
