"But if someone takes over the bank, all these security measures would mean nothing," said Harris.
"He… did… not!" gasped Jack. Even Journee and Henry had their mouths open in shock.
"Did he just…?" asked Henry.
"Yes… he… did!" replied Journee.
"Oh my god! You are right! Somehow, the FBI knows something is about to happen," said Henry. Journee bit her lips. Should she tell Henry and Jack that an FBI asset was planted inside the Hall family? But that would mean the mole would come to know about the same, and the asset's life would be in danger.
Now she understood why the FBI never got involved with the CED. They had their own person deeply embedded in the Hall family. They were getting more information than any other agency, so why do they need any help? But who was that asset? And was the FBI going to help the Hall family rob the bank, or was it going to stop them? Would the FBI be interested in those papers? She made a point of asking the same of William and Kay.
