"You did not get into a fight with His Majesty?"
Alwin thought something this big could have led to a fight.
Even Raymond and Clarisse, who got along well from the start of their relationship, still got into fights over the most random things. It was somewhat difficult to be with Raymond at such times since he becomes panicky and also overthinks. Raymond even makes Alwin and the others help him.
"Of course, I didn't! Why would I get into a fight with him when I know I was at fault? I immediately apologized," the Empress said as if Alwin was crazy to even suggest debating the matter.
"Ah, right. You must have acted all pitiful again," Alwin realized that his lord went after him exactly because he must not have wanted to confront the Empress.
It wasn't like he wanted them to fight either. If their relationship was damaged, it would be bad for the future. But Raymond said not all fights between couples were necessarily bad.
