Chapter 95: Teaching
15 June - Konoha Year 46
Training Yard Number 1 - Uzumaki Residence
Because of the rumour of the war, everyone become restless especially Shinobi who might become a cannon fodder. Althought the war hasn't started yet, but still the impact could be seen in Konoha.
The people spend more times with their family, shinobi started to train harder and even in Uzumaki Clan some people still feel that eventually they would be drag down to join the war.
Raiken had done a great job to mention about the pact with Konoha that make all the other member finally calmed down.
But secretly he contacted 13 most elite Uzumaki Shinobi to train with him.
They stood in wide circle and holding piece of paper, sweat soaking their clothes despite the temperature a bit cold at 10 degree celcius. Fuinjutsu formulas were etched across the stone floor.
Raiken looked outside overseeing their training.
One shinobi suddenly lost his focus and Raiken went closer to him.
"Have you got it?" Raiken asked calmly.
Uzumaki Zentaro exhaled heavily and wiped his brow. "No, Clan Leader."
Raiken nodded once, then shifted his gaze toward the others.
"How about the rest of you?" he asked. "Have any of you sensed the spatial layer yet?"
One by one, they can only shook their heads.
Arata clenched his fists. "I can feel the chakra flow… but it just ends. Like it hits a wall."
Kenshiro let out a bitter laugh. "I don't even know what I'm supposed to be sensing anymore. It's not chakra. It's not wind. It's… empty."
"Every time I try to connect the formula, it collapses. The seal won't stabilize," said Hiroki.
Raiken listened, although he feel slightly disappointed he still hope they could learn it.
It had been five full days since he made the decision to teach them Teleportation No Jutsu, that he had claimed this jutsu developed by him. Unfortunately no one even among this 13 elite shinobi manage to feel the spatial layer around them. They had stopped their work and focused on training but not even once they can feel it.
Although his version is an upgrade from Tobirama Senju jutsu, but this upgrade is more powerful because it capable of long distance and can even teleport tailed beast bomb that was so huge so far away.
Raiken had knowledge of both Jutsu, when he bought this jutsu from system mall. It also shows the knowledge where Minato had upgraded it.
So he knows Minato version should be more easier to learn.
And yet none of them manage to learn it.
He walked slowly around the circle. "That is expected," he said evenly. "If this jutsu were easy, all of second Hokage student would Tobirama Sama jutsu."
Zentaro frowned. "Clan Leader… we're all sensory shinobi. Some of us specialize in fuinjutsu. If even we can't grasp it, then..."
"Don't worry, just keep going this jutsu wasn't easy but if you insist you might succeed," Raiken interrupted calmly.
He had planned to modify them, Minato had a student other than Kakashi, Obito and Rin. Those 3 people manage to use this jutsu, although it needs 3 people at once to use it.
Raiken stopped and turned to face them. "Do you want to know who else failed to learn Tobirama sama jutsu"
They all stopped channeling their chakra and looked at Raiken.
"Tsunade," Raiken continued. "Jiraiya. Orochimaru. The Third Hokage. Koharu. Homura. Even Danzo."
Several eyes widened and some thought.
If all of them who are expert in ninjutsu fail, how can clan leader believe on them.
"Every single one of them attempted it," Raiken continued. "And every single one failed."
"Clan leader, why do you believe we can learn this jutsu. While the other people failed?" Arata swallowed his saliva.
Raiken nodded. "Good question, because this jutsu is improvement from second Hokage version. I have taken a look at their fuinjutsu and this jutsu is more easy to learn but you need to focus and although not you all, I wanted at least one of you to master it."
The other shinobi feel a bit overwhelm with the trust of clan leader.
"Really clan leader?" asked Kenshiro, he wasn't trying to be rude but just wanted for confirmation, maybe he heard it wrong.
"Yes, third Hokage asked to take a look at the diagram and I also had a chance to peek at the diagram of second Hokage version and I can ensure you my teleportation jutsu is more perfect," replied Raiken.
When they heard this, their respect towards Raiken increased to another level. They had learn many Jutsu from their clan leader, Rasengan, Multishadow clone jutsu and even fuinjutsu and they learn it easily.
Few months ago, they respected him but this time, their respect towards him increase to another level. This Jutsu making them realize of the power gap between them and their clan leader.
No wonder, the former Uzukage choose Raiken as the new Uzukage, because Raiken himself is amazing that he can create the jutsu that so difficult to master but they themselves failed to master it in this 5 days duration.
Raiken looked at them before decided to tell them the truth.
"Eventhough our clan has been exempted to join the war, we still need to join because Konoha might lose without us," said Raiken.
"Is it because of tailed beast?" asked Arata.
"Yes, remember they ambushed us in Uzushiogakure without even bringing tailed beast and they manage to destroy our Village and how strong they would become using tailed beast power," replied Raiken with worry. "If this place is destroyed then where would we run?"
Each of them had a look of worry on their face, no one said anything.

Raiken smiled inside, the reason he wanted to join the war isn't because of them. In the original timeline, Konoha manage to defeat all of them even without Uchiha helps. Although they lost a lot of people still they stood victory at the end.
He wanted to do this only for one thing, to bring enjoyment to his livestreaming audience, who wanted to watch his livestream channel if he only sit in Konoha like Hiruzen. So that is why he need to join the war and collect more stars, so he can become a lot stronger.
Call him hyprocrite, but family and survival come first.
