Chapter 115: Daimyo Reaction
Daimyo Castle, Land Of Fire
Rengoku is the current Fire Daimyo who rules the Land of Fire, he currently are seething in anger upon hearing the report from the war. The Kage from other village not just failed to invade Konoha but they were forced to draw especially the Shinobi from Kirigakure and Sunagakure.
All his money that he had spent on other village had gone to waste, he had spent around 15% of his treasury to empower other village and now they failed to deliver what he wanted.
At first he was delighted when he heard how the other Ninja had started to attack Konoha. The one who did the best in the war are Kumogakure and Rengoku are very happy hearing the report until Hokage himself step down to help on the front line.
With the combination of Hiruzen and Danzo, they managed to hold the Third Raikage from the battle and during this moment Uzumaki Raiken took the chance and kill as many enemy as he can.
Surprisingly, Uzumaki Raiken hold up with his reputation as a young prodigy from Uzumaki Clan. He had mastered teleportation jutsu, the same jutsu that no other people had manage to learn after second Hokage.
The moment he entered the battle it was a nightmare for the enemy, they can only see blur and suddenly blood are coming out from their body.
During this chaos, the survivor of Konoha Shinobi who are still alive they chose to help but Raiken gave them order to escape from the war, if not they will hold Raiken and Hokage from using their full power , not just that Raiken also brought them far away to get a treatment for their injury using Shadow Clone and Teleportation Jutsu.
Hokage and Raiken failed to kill third Raikage, however he was too late in helping his people. Most of the jonin from Kumogakure who participate in the war had been killed by Raiken and Raiken manage to escape from Konoha safely without an injury.
Meanwhile Kirigakure, they were forced to face with Hyuga and Uzumaki clan, their mist Jutsu are useless against this two clan.
To add worst, Kirigakure lost a lot of their people but Konoha fatality rate is not even reach 10 people, it all thanks to Uzumaki Clan shinobi who had brought as many as level 2 and 3 healing scroll as they can. The reason why those poor Konoha Shinobi died is because they were caught in crossfire.
Water cutting ninjutsu caught the most fatal part which is their neck and not just that, they were also caught in explosion. While the others shinobi who received a blunt trauma or injury from other part of the body, they were saved by Uzumaki clan who manage to save them with a healing scroll level 2 or 3.
On Sunagarakure side, their Poison are useless against Konoha Shinobi. Part of it thanks to Senju Tsunade, they manage to neutralize the poison on the body making them able to fought back against them.
While on Iwagakure, they are dealing with Hatake Sakumo, the future of Konoha White Fang. He only received this title after winning every battle on his fight before the war end. He is too fast, when an enemy just had enough time to use ram seal, suddenly they found Sakumo had cut off their head.
Konoha is currently at the most powerful in terms of ninja, they have Senju Clan and there is also the addition of Uzumaki Clan who provided them with the most level 3 healing scroll.
Now, when all of this report were brought infront of Daimyo, he become enraged because his priority is to weaken Konoha but now it shows how powerful Konoha have become for the past 20 years.
He wanted them to suffer loss and ask for a monetary support but Konoha was too strong and the enemy were forced to draw for a while.

DANZO POV
KONOHAGAKURE GATE
After a day escaping from the third Raikage and leaving his longtime friend Hiruzen. Danzo finally manage to return to the village.
At first he didn't intent to leave Hiruzen there alone but because of anger to Hiruzen and also the memories that Hiruzen in the past, the man who wanted to become scapegoat and holding of the enemy.
Now turn into scaredy cat, he decided to honor hiruzen of the past by leaving him on the frontline. Furthermore Hiruzen dared to threaten his wife by putting him on the frontline.
The only thing he can think about Hiruzen, that man had become a coward without a spine and he himself are no longer patriotic. What he want is his family happiness, furthmore his wife are pregnant again.
He knows the outcome of what he had done, but do he care?
Yes he cares a bit and he hope Hiruzen died there, he only wanted to retire and no longer care about Shinobi. Let's become civillian who didn't have to deal with a death of their family due to war and mission.
"Stop," said the Konoha Guard.
Danzo stopped when they hold them from entering.
Their eyes become wide because Danzo is the person who are recorded missing and now that same person, getting injury and looked bloodied.
They welcomed him inside to meet with Nara Shikajian and the council of war for explaination.
"Danzo, do you know where was the Hokage?" asked one of the council member.
"Hokage are still on the frontline and we were separated from each other," replied Danzo.
"What?" Danzo could heard some murmur from them.
"Do you have any question?" asked Danzo when they didn't know what to ask them.
"Yes, is Hokage still alive?" asked one of the member.
"Unfortunately, I feel he had been dead," replied Danzo.
"Why do you say Hokage is dead?" asked Nara Shikajin who act as temporarily leader.
"Because, Hiruzen are more faster than me and more powerful. If he failed to arrive Konoha first than me, most likely he had been dead killed by the third Raikage," revealed Danzo.
Murmur of disbelief could be heard inside the room, but they have interrogate Raiken and the survivor from the war and they know well what really happen there. The third Raikage manage to overpowered Raiken and even Hokage, so what Danzo had said most likely are the truth.
