Chapter 183: Dealing
"I can show you the seal before we release her," said Raiken. "You can inspect every formula personally. Once you see how it works, you'll understand that Kaguya won't be able to threaten anyone."
The guards exchanged uneasy glances. Although their Byakugan remained active, none of them moved to attack. Raiken willingness to reveal the seal had given them no choice to attack.
Kazuma studied Raiken face in silence.
"You would allow us to examine an Uzumaki sealing technique?" he asked.
"Of course," replied Raiken. "I'm asking you to trust me with the most dangerous prisoner on the Moon. It would be rather unreasonable if I refused to show you how I plan to restrain her."

Kazuma expression remained guarded, but some of the tension left his shoulders.
"A demonstration does not mean we will agree to your request," he warned. "The final decision does not belong to me alone."
"I understand," said Raiken. "I only ask that you look at the seal before deciding that I'm a complete madman."
Madara glanced sideways at him.
"A complete madman?" he repeated.
Raiken turned toward him. "I said before they decide to brand me with that name."

"Take them to the chamber at the end of the eastern corridor," Kazuma ordered, addressing two of the guards. "Remain outside and ensure they do not wander around."
Kazuma then looked back at Raiken and Madara.
"You will follow them and wait there. I need to bring this matter before the others. Until we reach a decision, neither of you is permitted to approach Kaguya seal or walk around."
"All right, We'll wait for you," said Raiken with a smile.

The guards began leading them away from the hall. Raiken followed without complaint, but after several steps, he noticed that Madara expression had changed.
The Uchiha's lips had flattened into a thin line. His eyes moved between the guards walking ahead of them and the ones following from behind.
"Why are you making that face?" asked Raiken.
Madara stared at him.
"What face?" asked Madara
"The one that says you are considering whether throwing someone through a wall would improve the situation," replied Raiken with deadpanned expression.
Madara gaze moved to Raiken. For a moment, he appeared to be searching for an answer sharp enough to end the conversation. In the end, he decided that arguing with this irritating man would only make the journey feel longer.
He closed his mouth and continued walking.
Raiken nodded approvingly.
"Good choice. You're becoming more patient," said Raiken.
A vein appeared on Madara forehead.

Madara trying his best to ignore Raiken, he had spent decades alone in a cave, waiting for his plans to reach completion. He knew how to be patient.
After few minutes they arrived at the room, this is the eastern side room.
"They prepared this room for dangerous visitors," commented Madara
One of the guards stopped beside the entrance.
"It is a guest chamber," answer the guard
Madara turned his eyes toward him.
"Then your clan has an unusual understanding of hospitality."
The guard did not answer.
Raiken stepped closer to one of the walls and studied the characters carved into the stone. Some of the formulas resembled the ancient foundations of Uzumaki fuinjutsu, though their structure was more rigid and lacked many of the modifications developed by his clan over the generations.
"Interesting," he murmured.
"Do not touch anything," warned the guard.
"I wasn't going to."
Raiken hand was already halfway toward the wall.
Madara caught his wrist before he could make contact.
"You were," accused Madara
"I only wanted to examine it," Raiken justify himself.
"You can examine it with your eyes," smirked Madara
Raiken sighed but allowed Madara to pull his hand away. The two guards left the room and watching them from outside.
Madara looked at Raiken.
"If they refuse, what will you do?" asked him.
Raiken pulled out a chair and sat down.
"I'll convince them again," replied Raiken.
"And if they cannot be convinced?" questioned Madara.
Raiken leaned back, his expression losing some of its earlier amusement.
"I believe they will agree to my request," answered Raiken.

Raiken ignored them and looked toward the guard. Kazuma had not rejected the proposal immediately. That alone was progress that clan leader thought it is good thing. If the Moon Otsutsuki examined his work and confirmed that the seal could suppress Kaguya power, their greatest objection would disappear.

Otsutsuki Kazuma POV
His clan had guarded Kaguya's seal for generations. The duty had been passed from parent to child for so long.
Every month they inspected the seal and barrier, recorded every disturbance in the chakra surrounding it.
Most importantly, they ensured that no one ever released the woman imprisoned within.
Now, for the first time in their recorded history, a descendant of Hagoromo had travelled to the Moon and openly asked them to do exactly that.
Kazuma walked through the corridor in silence. Four guards accompanied him, but none dared to speak. They were all waiting for their clan leader to tell them that Raiken proposal was madness and that the visitors would be sent back to Earth.
The problem was that Kazuma could not dismiss everything Raiken had said.
Their oldest records mentioned the Otsutsuki beyond Earth. They spoke of powerful members of the main clan who travelled between worlds.
Those records were incomplete, but they supported Raiken warning.
If other Otsutsuki were truly coming, Kaguya might possess information that could save them. She knew the customs of the main clan, their hierarchy, their methods and perhaps even the identities of those likely to target Earth.
That knowledge was valuable. It was also trapped inside a woman who had once turned against her own children.
The surviving records described Kaguya as possessive, unstable and willing to kill anyone who threatened her control. Hagoromo and Hamura had not sealed their mother over a minor disagreement. They had fought her because leaving her free would have endangered every living person on Earth.
Raiken's confidence in his seal did little to erase that history.
"One hundred percent," Kazuma muttered, remembering the confident in Raiken voice.
Either the Uzumaki possessed absolute faith in his abilities, or he had no proper understanding of what he was attempting.
Kazuma was not sure which possibility concerned him more.
Then there was Madara, Kazuma had felt the Uchiha chakra from the moment he saw him. It was vast, heavy and sharpened by decades of battle. Even when Madara stood still, his presence felt like a threat waiting for permission to become violence. Yet he had followed Raiken lead.
A man with that much power would not willingly travel to the Moon merely to participate in a foolish plan.
He can only sighed and wait for the others elder to arrive in the meeting room and about 10 minutes later, the meeting begin.
"Descendants of Hagoromo have come to the Moon," he announced. "They are asking for our help in releasing Kaguya."
Everyone in the room look horrified with what Kazuma just said.
