Ray's feet were stuck to the ground. He felt immense fear just by looking that creature.
'The long-armed bear. That's the long-armed bear that killed the owner of the diary.'
Before Ray could do anything, it jumped it air and out of paw came five long, sharp claws.
It headed straight toward Ray. Ray somehow managed to dodge the three claws but the fourth claw pierced through his shoulder.
Before he could even think further, Ray was flung towards a tree. Ray coughed blood from his mouth as he hit the tree. Before the pain could subside, Ray saw the fist of the bear coming towards him. He quickly balled his hands into fists and crossed them across his face, protecting it. But that wasn't enough. Ray was once again sent flying through the trees from the impact. Ray rolled on the ground, ended up facing the sky, lying on his back.
'Is this the end. Am I going to die like this. And here I wanted to be a hero. The strongest hero.' Ray thought as he heard the bear closing in. It looked down at Ray. At moment Ray could clearly see, that the bear was smiling. As if it knew what was happening and was enjoying it. But it didn't kill Ray. Rather it went away, knowing he was going die anyways, why bother. Ray could only stare at the sky as the darkness closed in.

Ray his eyes to see the sky once again. The sun was still in the same place, maybe a bit forward.
'What? What just happened?' Shouldn't I be dead.'

The sudden response from the system shook him. Ras sat up and read the messages that had popped up.

Ray walked back to the hut,determined.

It had taken 2 hours for Ray to make a stone axe & a spear. Many pieces of wood and stone were laying the ground. Ray was currently holding the spear, facing a tree. The tree showed clear markings of previous attacks.
"Alright let's see if this works." Ray took a deep breath, as he took a step forward and thrust the spear forward, straight into the tree trunk. The spear pierced into the tree. It did not broke, like the other time.
"Yes, I did it finally." Ray said, as he pulled his spear. " Finally, I have a proper weapon."
Making the spear wasn't easy. Even though Ray knew how to make one theoretically, it took hours to make one practically.
All of a sudden Ray heard his stomach rumbling. Ray slapped his head and said,"I have been eating berries ever since I came on the island. Those berries help me for long."
Ray looked up in the sky and saw he had plenty of time befor sunset. Ray felt confident, now that he had a weapon. Why not go hunting.
Thinking so, Ray started to walk into the forest.
