Seeing her daughter, Yang Zhang suddenly felt at ease, all her previous unease disappeared.
"Da Ni, come here." Yang Zhang took a few steps to the side: "Are you hungry? Did you have dinner?"
Da Ni jogged over, shaking her head: "No, Grandma said that eating a little at noon is enough, since I'm not working at night, I don't need dinner."
She didn't say whether she was hungry or not, but how could she not be? She only ate a little at noon and couldn't sleep because of hunger, so she got up as soon as she heard the noise.
But Da Ni didn't want her mother to worry, so she didn't say anything.
Yang Zhang felt both sad and heartbroken. Her sister-in-law's two daughters, although not fair and tender, obviously had never gone hungry, looking very healthy.
Looking at her own kids, her two sons didn't look as good as the daughters of others. It clearly showed how biased the in-laws were.
