When Xiao Ming arrived and stared right through the river's surface, he could see something like a whirlpool swirling there.
The gathering motes of light had actually come from the slowly spinning whirlpool bringing with it a strong sense of grandeur and might that left Xiao Ming awed and amazed.
Xiao Ming waited for a while. In this strange dimension, he could not tell day or night as the sense of time in here seemed to be severed, or rather suppressed.
Slowly afterwards, Xiao Ming could see that a golden scroll jumped out of the whirlpool and began to shine with a strong light despite being in a folded state.
It released piercing light but Xiao Ming could still not sense the intensity directly because of the gap in space.
However, in a split second, Xiao Ming could literally hear space rip. The harsh noise of the water gurgling as it flowed hit his ears.
