The blade elongated and was reshaped in the span of a heartbeat, unfolding into an otherworldly bow. Its frame was glowing faintly with an ethereal sheen. The grip settled into her hand as if it had always belonged there, perfectly fitting into her grip. A string of light stretched across it on its own.

Steady your breath.
Do not hesitate.
Aim.
Chants in her head overlapped, echoing through her mind like fragments of something she was strangely feeling familiar about. Alicia's eyes widened, her heart racing with the unfamiliar instructions flooding her senses.
"I—I don't know how—" she whispered, panic lacing her voice.
