The group entered the Stairway and immediately found themselves in front of a beautiful woman. Her eyes could have been mistaken for rubies and her golden hair made her eyes shine even brighter.
As for the rest of the body, they were only focused on the head and did not see what it looked like. The woman smiled and gestured for them to sit down.
The group sat down and the woman began to speak, "So what adventures in the Third Realm caught your lovely's attention?"
Her voice was so angelic that no one could even describe what they wanted. The woman was patient to see what they had seen and learned.
"A beast whom fought not only to survive but to be reunited with its family. The beast was willing to fight with everything it had to achieve its goal."
Everyone thought about whom spoke and no one could even think because of the angelic voice.
"So marvelous. What is did you see?" She asked.
The group was a little terrified because no one knew how this place was working. When the woman saw the terrified faces she immediately began to think how to calm them down.
"Wait before you go berserk. This place is sacred. The Stairway Conscious is apart of me but I am alone in this part of the Stairway. What makes me different than most is that I keep the Third Realm adventures in a state of cycle.
When people go to learn about different aspects of it. It is always restarted. For the most part, most of it will get you all a free pass as long as you have not done anything bad.
There are a couple of things that I completely disregard for how evil it makes people. Those people always die horribly because of it."
The group seemed to calm down just a little bit.
"Also, when you cannot think of the words to speak of. This section helps bring the memories up to life so I can see them. When you here the voice speaking, it is technically yourself describing it just in a little weird way."
The group seemed to completely calm down now. This made the group extremely happy.
"When we finally met up with the beast's mate, we saw almost the same exact scene. When the mate entered the fray it was already game over for the pack of beasts trying to attack it.
Then we went deep down into a chamber and found a jewel with a letter closeby. We did not linger any longer and went on our way."
The woman seemed to be eager to hear what else they had seen and done. Her eyes also seemed to bear a deep hatred that did not go unnoticed by the female Heavenly Judge and Lilith.
"We came across a swampy area and crocodile like beasts flipped over on their backs allowing us to jump on their bellies across to a cave.
When we went completely down, we found another jewel and lletters. We had found this one first and went back to retrieve the jewel and letter to see where it would lead to."
The Stairway Conscious no longer seemed happy about about this adventure. Only two people could truly tell about this.
"We went to where the map and jewels led to. It was a little hard to get all of us in there but we eventually made it in there.
We saw mountains of gold and treasures. The two jewels somehow made their way out of our hands and into something that we did not see and we appeared back on the forest ground and did not see what we actually got into."
Looking at the woman now, the Shadow Commander could absolutely tell that she was about to kill the group.
"So can you remember what you truly saw in the gold and treasures?" She spoke angrily.
Everyone's memories of that time seemed to appear before her. She looked at the memories as if someone had plucked them.
No matter how hard she tried to pull it out of them, no one actually remembered what they truly saw within the gold and treasures.
"Technically, I would have to fail you all because you actually saw the former mate to the Stairway Conscious.
It is the only thing that is absolutely taboo and will get you killed on the spot for being seen. How you all were able to reach those areas? Only the goddesses and Demon God knows. Since you all do not truly remember the figure of it. We can leave it as is for now.
I will have to talk about this with the main body. I hope that you all will not cause me any harm and staying here."
She disappeared instantly. What seemed like just a moment for the group was truly a long time for the Stairway Conscious and that part of it to actually think of the consequences of this happening.
"Is that our verdict?" The one talking to the main body of the Stairway Conscious asked.
"Yes. We can lock those memories from each of them." The main body of the Stairway Conscious spoke.
The woman disappeared.
"You truly decided to make yourself known after so long. Why?" The Stairway Conscious was curious in her thoughts.
She closed her eyes and the figure of a chubby man with sharp features stared before the woman.
"We may have to deal with this threat earlier than expected." The Stairway Conscious whispered and her voice could be heard by the Demon God and goddesses.
As the woman reappeared before the group. She looked hard at them.
"I hope that you all will not force me to hurt anyone of you while I seal your memories of this day."
Everyone looked puzzled.
"A danger that should never be seen was seen by you all. We cannot allow you to actually see this person and remember who they are."
The group nodded as the memory of this day was sealed away never to remember what they actually did but got to advance anyways.
