As lunch was fast approaching and people ate just to enjoy time together not because they were hungry in the Fifth Heavenly Realm.
Rex was heading down with Aina wrapped around his right arm. It looked funny to see her being this clingy and Iris allowing it for the day.
When they reached the area where the main restaurant was. All time stopped and everyone moved to the side all to the left almost as if it was rehearsed for weeks before attempting it.
"Enjoy a meal before us." Some people shouted in humor and others were serious.
Rex and the ladies all moved forward and they got access to the best spot in the restaurant.
Two floors up and a wide space was presented before them. Deathholder had already anticipated them being here around lunch and ordered a meal to be delivered then.
It was not long after that huge trays of food were delivered. All kinds of different meats and sides along with some of the better drinks for a delicious lunch were brought free of charge.
Rex tried one sip of his drink and it was a little too spicy at the first touch of it. When he drank it while eating a leg of a beast it brought forth a taste that he could not have imagined.
He tried another meat with another drink and it was not as good but the tangy aftertaste brought him a good refresh while eating some mushrooms.
The ladies looked more human while gently cutting a piece off and trying each one before deciding to move on.
Deathholder laughed and this brought the staff to a better feeling. They were worried that something was amiss and could not be fixed.
"Eat well and enjoy the finest that can be brought here!" Deathholder told them.
Instead of being lady-like now, the women began to just chow down and enjoy it to the finest as the could without being overly bad.
Rex did not hear what Deathholder said because he was already enjoying the meal to his finest.
The staff went and brought more drinks. They had someone who specialized in cleaning those in the upper areas so getting messy was never a problem.
For the people downstairs, it was a little disturbing to get messy but since it usually happened no one ever cared. The cleaning services were always to the back.
Some people got it with their meal free of charge because it that meal was always messy no matter how you ate it. Others would have to pay or risk being laughed at and most of the time it was reasonable charge unless the specialist knew the person. That was never a good argument to hear.
People laughed because it was never a good sign to hear the argument but no one ever said anything afterwards. For those upstairs, it was never an option to leave without the cleaning services.
It did not matter if they got dirty or not. Those people always needed to look their best no matter where they went.
The group finished their meal after an hour and a half. Rex was completely messy and looked like a child with a satisfied stomach.
The ladies were better but they all got to laugh at Rex being a happy, stuffed man. Rex was not trying to not be something he was not and this was upsetting him.
"Come on. Time to get washed up." Iris spoke like a mother trying to be upset at their dirty child.
Rex nodded no.
Iris gave him a look that was neither angry or forgiving.
Rex nodded no.
Iris felt a vein getting extra blood and about ready to pop.
Rex nodded no.
Aina comes up in a smoothly manner and whispers, "If someone does not get washed up. That someone can forget about sleeping with his wives for the night and sleep on the dirt."
Rex thought about it for a moment before Tiamat just lifted him up like an upset child to go get washed up.
Liz giggled at Rex trying to break free from Tiamat. Iris felt her normal headache coming along. Aina did not know what to think with Rex acting like a child.
Deathholder laughed again and the group went to get cleaned. They entered a dark room and a powerful burst of a water and wind whipped around them as if they were inside a hurricane.
Not even twenty seconds later, the water stopped and thirty seconds later the wind stopped. They saw the door open and walked out.
They noticed their robes were much cleaner than before and did not know how it worked. Deathholder did not want to tell them while in the restaurant.
They started their way to the vendor to try and find the cat responsible for making Tiamat try to bring down the place.
