Allen set down his quill and slouched in his chair within the SDC room.
"With this, everything is complete," he murmured, having finished writing out all the tasks required of the SDC chairman.
Vioriel emerged from the adjacent room, her expression a mix of concern and disbelief. "You're really going to resign?" she questioned incredulously. "I can't comprehend how the SDC can be led by that kid.
"No need to worry," Allen reassured her. "You're right here with him."
Vioriel's skepticism remained evident. "That really doesn't reassure me," she countered.
Allen continued, acknowledging his own shortcomings. "You know as well as I do that I'm not cut out to be a leader. All I seem to do is coerce others into submission, and that's hardly a commendable quality. You're the one truly carrying out the duties of a proper SDC chairman—analyzing our opponents' movements, delegating tasks, and organizing our territory. I merely make decisions to address immediate issues."
