Now that Hao Yu was alone he simply sat there.
Sigh, this world is so boring. There really isn't any entertainment like on earth. All these people know how to do was cultivate, look for opportunities, or court harem members.
Hao Yu was reincarnated from earth and was born from mortals. He had tried to find earth again with his cultivation, but he soon found out that this place wasn't in the same dimension.
He fell on his back and layed down lazily,
"At least back when I was a mortal, I dreamed of flying swords and immortality, but now that I have them…there's nothing left. I don't have a reason to cultivate at all…."
He sat up, "Guess I'll just play the Guqin. Art's the only thing that I can have fun with nowadays."
Hao Yu had gotten very used to talking to himself even before he was reincarnated as he was very much a loner.
When he gained immortality, he lost everyone he knew either way.
"I'm alone, but I'm not lonely…" whenever he had doubts about his own life, he could only appease his heart by repeating this.
It was like a cold mantra that dispelled any rising doubts.
"I'll let my heart be cleansed by the Guqin~"
His fingers plucked the strings.
"Hmm....It still doesn't feel right..."
Hao Yu closed his eyes and wrapped a cloth over his eyes.
"Hm, thats better! I still feel more at peace when I close my eyes while playing." He held his chin, "I feel so much cooler with a cloth too. I'm like a dashing hero!"
If someone were to see him, he would naturally be embarrassed to death, but he was all alone in his room.
After plucking the strings a few more times he sanged softly.
"In the mortal realm~
Assasination and slaughter~
Filled with grief, I close my eyes~
You stood there~
Like a fairy~
fallen to the lower realm~
Your luminescent glow~"
Hao yu was so focused on playing the guqin that he didn't notice someone was right next to him, just a few inches apart.
Her red lips parted, almost as if she wanted to call out to him. But she stopped herself.
"Are you from heaven~
From the upper world~
I don't know if it is right or not~
But I've begun to fall for you~
At the very least~
I'll build a warm bamboo shack~
To not let you see~
The true mortal realm~
But as the stories say~
mortals~
And immortals~
Can't be…together~
The woman in front of him had crystal tear drops falling from her eyes. She slowly held out her hand wanting to caress Hao Yu's face.
"Hm?" Hao Yu stopped and took his blindfold off. Looking around, there was no one in sight. "Did I hear wrong?"
He shook his head and didn't dwell on it.
