Arad appeared in the private quarters, having returned after being away for a long while. His eyes wandered around the massive living room, and he quickly noticed the countless faint smells filling the room. He could identify each one of his wives and all the maids individually, and quickly concluded that they had just had a meeting before he arrived.
He could think of several things they might've been talking about, but the answer didn't matter. Merlin was just there on the couch, relaxing as one of her personal maids painted her nails. Upon a closer inspection, Arad could tell that it wasn't just any regular nail polish, but witch's nail polish, and a special one at that. Merlin had made that with her own blood and infused it with Eldritch magic to make casting Eldritch spells easier.
