The end of the ascension channel was an ascension pool.
At a glance, the pool was one hundred square metres and had purple water, rich in immortal qi.
"We are finally here." Shen Xu said, looking around with curious eyes.
However, after taking in the surroundings, his gaze froze, and a chill crept up his spine.
"Where are we?" He muttered.
"Is something wrong?" Zhen Yuan asked and Shen Xu nodded.
[Ascension pools are hard to build and maintain. Because of this, they are only available in major cities and some monster clan areas but look at our surroundings.] The double said and Zhen Yuan reflexively looked around.
Instead of a carefully maintained environment, the pool was between broken walls and immortal grasses were growing randomly like weeds.
Even thinking with their toes, it was clear that the ascension pool was abandoned and not within a big city.
[We seem to be in a ruin but I don't sense danger.] Zhen Yuan said and the double nodded.
