"Director Jiang is tough on the outside but soft on the inside... When the time comes, sweet-talk him a bit, and he'll still grant you some time off. There's no need to worry about this... If you truly care about this role, then put your heart into every detail, even if it's just a single scene, a single expression... Otherwise, when it airs, you'll regret not doing your best at the time,
but by then it'll be too late... Also, after each shoot, you can go and check the filming results with Director Jiang. Let Yang Rui go on her own, that way she'll fully understand where her shortcomings are. No need to be embarrassed.
The director wishes all the actors in the crew would seriously learn. If your acting skills are lacking, as long as you genuinely improve, even if the director doesn't say it, he will feel delighted inside."
"Really?"
"Yes, that's from experience..."
"Alright then, I'll listen to Uncle... I'll go get busy now."
