A sharp glance shot his way, and Tommy instantly fell silent.
"Huh? I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that." Melody found the landlord a bit strange.
Tommy glanced at Evan Fairchild. The moment their eyes met, he shivered. "Just call me Tommy."
'Impersonating President Fairchild... so terrifying, but so thrilling!'
Melody got right to the point. "I heard from the previous landlord that you don't plan on living here yourself and are still looking to rent it out. I signed a two-year contract with him, so I was hoping we could just continue with the existing lease. Would that be okay?"
"Yes, that's fine."
Hearing him agree, Melody breathed a sigh of relief.
"The rent is twenty-five hundred a month. Could you please send me your bank account information? I'll be sure to transfer the rent on time at the end of each month."
"You got it. I'll send it over in a moment." Tommy looked up and met Evan Fairchild's gaze.
