Malachi didn't know very much about demon physiology; however, he was at least somewhat certain that it was not physically safe for him to be this erect.
Anna was… incredible. The woman who he believed could not become more perfect in his eyes had seemingly done just that.
He fell in love with her all over again. Every emotion they'd ever shared came rushing to the forefront of his mind.
However, it didn't take him long to remember what being a demon meant.
He turned to Lilith, enraged.
"Undo what you did to her right now! My wife is not going to be a member of the demon faction!"
"Oh, relax. Your bride is fine, and her life is still her own. I just helped her draw on her blood a bit so that she would be safe here." Lilith curled her lip. "I was extending an olive branch to you in order to make up for our... first meeting."
Translation: Lilith was scared that Malachi would tell Nyx some unflattering things about her.
