"Oh, you've woken up, Mother-in-law Nyx. How was the nap? Was it comfortable?" Yuan asked with a teasing smile, his gaze lingering on her graceful figure.
"It was the best rest I've had in my entire life. Also, you don't need to call me with such honorifics—just call me Nyx. After all, I'm no longer just your mother-in-law… I'm also your wife now." Nyx said softly, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks.
"Alright. I'll call you Nyx—but only when we're alone." Yuan replied with a gentle smile before pulling her into his embrace.
