Hey, it's been a while thought I'd give you all an update. One on my life and another on future projects.
The Bad news is these past few years have been tough. I got scammed out of a lot of money which killed my savings and credit. Next, I lost my main income source AI killed the market for it. Lastly, earlier this year my Grandmother died. I still miss her a lot she was the closest person to me. So it's been tough these last couple of years.
The Good news is I graduated college & paid it completely off despite everything else going to crap! Got a degree in Economics. Looking to get a high paying job in my field. This has led to me having more time for writing. I can now work more on my original story ideas and do some fanfics in the meantime to practice/improve my writing.
This leads to what I have been working on. On original ideas I figured out the power system for two of my major stories and have a full outline and synopsis for all three of them. Without spoiling too much, the main one I'm working on is a dual-protagonist story that will serve as a prequel to one of the other ones. The idea came from my love of mythology, manga and comics. I wanted a story where Superman, Goku, or Sun Wukong could fight or interact. Some characters will share inspiration or similarities but with their unique take. Think how Invincible and The Boys have Homelander or Invincible inspired by Superman but have their own unique story, personality etc. This will be across all mediums almost as a love letter to the fiction I grew up loving. The two protagonists are based on Goku and Superman but with huge twists to their character, powers, etc but you can tell at a glance who inspired their characters. I plan to workshop the idea with an editor before the end of the year. The feedback I have gotten on the idea has been good so far.
Next, on to fanfics, I reworked the MCU Bethesda idea into Dragonborn Son of Gaea. The MC is the adoptive son of Gaea from Marvel and has the powers of the Dragonborn from Skyrim, including mods. I already wrote the first five chapters and will hopefully post when I have 20-30 ready to go like the last story. I'll post a sneak peek at the end of all this. I do have some other ideas I also want to explore. Feedback on them will be appreciated, I'll list them below. The top 3 are the most developed ideas I have worked on.
Hood meets Cultivation(DC) Set is universe combined storylines of Young Justice and Justice League. MC is reincarnated with the Cultivation Remembrance. The ability allows him to use one technique, power, ability, skill, or artifact from cultivation novels he read in the past. He must recite the power in full to get it. The power works every six months. (He read a bunch of cultivation novels in the past). He still has to cultivate to get strong etc. The character will be half Black on his father's side & half Japanese & Chinese on his mother's side. He starts as a newborn in an orphanage in the Glades of Star City.
His powers would be set under Core Domains. Main Techniques(Body, Energy(Qi), Dual, and Soul), Physique & Bloodlines, Daos, Combat, Special Ability, Disciplines(Alchemy or Crafting, etc), and Artifacts.

One Piece: Eyes of God: A modern man reincarnates as Adam D. Godtree, an 18-year-old who just finished Cipher Pol training. The original Adam killed himself after seeing the true face of the World Government and the Celestial Dragons. New Adam sets two goals: to become the strongest in history and end the World Government to honor the original's last wish. MC awakens the power Eyes of Lord from Record of Ragnarök. He can perfectly replicate any move, technique, or transformation he directly observes. Example he can copy Ice Age from Aokiji but not the entire Ice Fruit. He will train for two years and then join Luffy right after Zoro.
MHA: World Tour
MC is in MHA with the world tour system from Street Fighter 6. Would make him strong enough eventually to fight anyone in this world. I had this idea while thinking of Akuma fighting AFO. The story will be longer than the original and would have two time skips. I kind of wish MHA had a time skip where they were in their final year at UA then another with them being young adults like in the end of the story. Also going to different countries America for one.
Naruto Shindo Life System: MC is born with a system just like the Roblox game of the same name. Similar to many of the Naruto self-insert system novels you see. My only promise for mine is no Harems or BS power-ups, only what is in the game. Also, characters will be accurate to Naruto. Lastly idk about Boruto since I only watched the first movie. DC: Superstar. MC is born with the power of Creation Actualization
A composite ability derived from Reality Artistry and Fictional Actualization(from the Superpower Wiki) that allows the user to transform the products of his creativity into reality. Anything he creates written, drawn, composed, sung, designed, or otherwise artistically produced can eventually be actualized, including its properties, abilities, knowledge, skills, concepts, characters, objects, and other attributes.
This also works for anything currently not created, like for example, Dragon Ball, but what he can actualize is determined by the amount of people who like what he has created. So getting Goku's gi would be easy but a Saiyan bloodline would take millions of fans of Dragon Ball, etc. I had this idea reading Re:life with Karmic Gacha (Modern Family). (Good story for the first 200 or so chapters falls off after, sadly). The story would have him being this entertainment superstar from games, movies, music, novels, etc and a superhero. This one can also be done in Invincible or Marvel, but I thought DC made more sense.
